【摘要】:Thedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofgasolinebygaschromatographicsimulateddistillationprovidesaninsightintothecompositionofthecomponentsfromwhichthegasolinehasbeenblended.Knowledgeoftheboilingrangedistributionofgasolineblendingcomponentsisusefulforthecontrolofrefineryprocessesandfortheblendingoffinishedgasoline.ThedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionoflighthydrocarbonmixturesbygaschromatographicsimulateddistillationhasbetterprecisionthantheconventionaldistillationbyTestMethodD86.Additionally,thistestmethodprovidesmoreaccurateanddetailedinformationaboutthecompositionofthelightends.Thedistillationdataproducedbythistestmethodaresimilartothatwhichwouldbeobtainedfromacryogenic,trueboilingpoint(15theoreticalplates)distillation.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofgasolineandliquidgasolineblendingcomponents.Itisapplicabletopetroleumproductsandfractionswithafinalboilingpointof280C(536F)orlower,asmeasuredbythistestmethod.1.2ThistestmethodisdesignedtomeasuretheentireboilingrangeofgasolineandgasolinecomponentswitheitherhighorlowvaporpressureandiscommonlyreferredtoasSimulatedDistillation(SimDis)bygaschromatographers.1.3Thistestmethodhasbeenvalidatedforgasolinecontainingethanol.Gasolinescontainingotheroxygenatesarenotspecificallyexcluded,buttheywerenotusedinthedevelopmentofthistestmethod.1.4Thistestmethodcanestimatetheconcentrationofn-pentaneandlightersaturatedhydrocarbonsingasoline.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunits(degreesCelsius)aretoberegardedasthestandard.ResultsindegreesFahrenheitcanbeobtainedbysimplysubstitutingFahrenheitboilingpointsinthecalculationoftheboilingpoint-retentiontimecorrelation.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
